Color Funk It's a total groove with Color Funk, Vinny's latest trio and new record. "I wanted to bring the concept and sound of the organ trio into the 21st century." Check out a taste of this new recording. I'm sure you'll be back for more. Color Funk is Vinny Valentino on guitar, Adam (AK 88) Klipple on the organ, and Tony Cintron and Joel Rosenblatt on the drums. |

Rudolph Valentino Co -produced by the great George Benson, this recording is for the romantics in all of us. I was playing a festival with one of my favorite pianist Steve Rudolph when a fan yell from the audience, “you two should do a record together and call it Rudolph Valentino.” We laughed at the time and then we realized what a great idea it was. We set out to record music that was some how related to the famous actor Rudolph Valentino. Steve and I put together a list of tunes that were all about romance. The recording features Bob Moses, Larry Gray, Steve Rudolph, Vinny Valentino and a lush string ensemble from the Pittsburg Philharmonic. |

Center Place This is the first recording of my trio On 3. It features the grammy award winning bassist John Benitez and percussionist Gilad. We recorded this album before a 6 week tour of South America in which we sold all of our CD’s. We are re-releasing this recording on the BWA music site because of the CD’s popularity. “Vinny’s astonishing technique mixed with his tender sensibility, John Benitez’s Latin fire and communicative charm and Gilad’s subtle expertise in combining conventional drums with an amazing set of percussion instruments from all over the world, all balanced perfectly, led to a highly enjoyable recording.” Juan Carlos Valencia UN Radio. Live at the Café Japone is the culmination of performer at the cafe for almost 8 years. Through out those years I played with many great musicians there including, Pepe Gonzalez, Otrie Barrett, (who started the gig) Marshall Keys, Jon Ozment, Dan Reynolds, Charlie Young, and many others. This CD features arrangements of standards and original compositions conceived at Café. Drummer Richard Seals, bassist Cheyney Thomas and bassist Steve Zerlin, are among the musician that still perform there. I hope you enjoy listening to this CD as much as I did making it. Vinny |
 | Now and Again, Valentino doesn't hide behind reconstituted Wes Montgomery licks like so many guitarists these days. The sessions are also bolstered with special guest saxophonist Gary Bartz, who plays a prominent role on Now and Again. In fact, the CD is just as much a vehicle for the band as it is for the crafty fingerings of guitarist Valentino. "Gavin Jazz" |
 | The Distance Between Two Lines My goodness, talk about hot house jazz, that CD is smoking!!! I have a jazz program every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12 PM until 5 PM and there hasn't been a day to go by that I haven't featured this CD.
